INDIANAPOLIS – The Knicks went through shootaround this morning without J.R. Smith, who Mike Woodson said had a 102-degree temperature.

If Amar'e Stoudemire returns for Game 3, the Knicks power forward is not expected to play big minutes, coach Mike Woodson said on ESPN Radio on Wednesday.
Stoudemire, who is rehabbing from right knee surgery on March 11, has been targeted to return on Saturday night in Indianapolis, and Woodson said Wednesday that remains “a possibility.”

Mike Woodson finished third in the NBA’s coach of the year balloting with 127 points, behind Denver’s George Karl (404) and Miami’s Erik Spoelstra (190).
Woodson received six first-place votes out of a possible 121.
