The Knicks officially announced that Kurt Rambis will be their associate head coach, reuniting him with team president Phil Jackson and coach Derek Fisher.

The Knicks released their Las Vegas Summer League roster and last year’s first-round pick Tim Hardaway Jr., and two second-round picks from this year, Cleanthony Early and Thanasis Antetokounmpo headline the team.

Newly acquired point guard Shane Larkin and Jeremy Tyler, whose contract is partially guaranteed, are also on the team, as well as veteran free agents Cole Aldrich and Shannon Brown.

The first part of the Knicks’ season featured more trade rumors and reports that Mike Woodson was close to being fired than actual wins.

Both should continue through the All-Star break and into next week.

The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 20 and the Knicks are 20-32 heading into the break. So expect rumors of Woodson being on his way out to persist and trade talks to heat up.
