Mike Woodson was critical of Tyson Chandler’s offensive game, but he said he wants to help the Knicks' center get better.

“I think you've got to be able to catch the ball and play offense,” Woodson said. “Rebound the ball instead of tapping it out. Rebound the ball and go back up and get fouled or score the bucket. That's important. I thought that was our difference in the series with the...

Five ways the Eastern Conference semifinals series against the Indiana Pacers went wrong for the Knicks:

1) Chandler bombs

Tyson Chandler didn’t play like a former Defensive Player of the Year or All-Defensive First-Team center against Indiana’s Roy Hibbert. Chandler totaled 36 rebounds and 29 fouls in the six games, while Hibbert averaged 13.3 points and 10.3 boards.

It sounds a little like the Jeremy Lin story all over again.
