GREENBURGH – The Knicks made it official, and announced the signing of Jeremy Tyler this morning. They waived Chris Smith to make room for Tyler. The 6-foot-10 Tyler averaged 18 points and 10.2 rebounds in six games with the Knicks’ D-League team, the Erie BayHawks. The Knicks signed him over the summer and he likely would have made the team in training camp if he hadn’t broken his foot in September....

Mike Woodson is planning to change his starting lineup tomorrow night against the Pistons. The Pistons start a Josh Smith, Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond frontline so Woodson said he “might match to their bigness.” It’s a safe bet that Carmelo Anthony, Andrea Bargnani and Kenyon Martin will start up front with Raymond Felton and either J.R. Smith or Iman Shumpert. Woodson said he hasn’t decided...
