Carmelo Anthony said his right biceps is feeling much better than it was Wednesday and he will start in Sunday’s All-Star Game.
Anthony was elbowed in the arm in Wednesday’s loss to the Raptors and said he didn’t know if he would play Sunday.

The Knicks already were going to be well-represented at All-Star Weekend with Carmelo Anthony starting in the game and Tyson Chandler selected as a reserve.
Now Steve Novak and James White will be joining the festivities in Houston.

* The Knicks’ bench scored 82 points, the most in franchise history.
* Amar’e Stoudemire shot 10-for-10, and came up just short of tying the franchise record for makes without a miss in a game. Johnny Newman and Bernard King were 11-for-11.

Jason Kidd shot around at practice today and expects to play tomorrow against Milwaukee after missing last night’s game with a sore lower back.
Knicks coach Mike Woodson said Kidd would play and would start with Raymond Felton, Iman Shumpert, Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler.
Kidd said he didn’t have any tests done and he just got treatment on his back the past few days.

Mike Woodson still isn’t saying he’ll put Amar’e Stoudemire in the starting lineup. But he reiterated that he will play Stoudemire, Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler together more and more.

Raymond Felton passed his last test and was cleared to play tonight. Jason Kidd’s back felt much better when he woke up and he will play tonight. And Mike Woodson will unveil a new starting lineup against the 76ers.

Mike Woodson said Carmelo Anthony will keep starting at power forward. But he said he also has to get Amar’e Stoudemire, Tyson Chandler and Anthony to click since that’s a lineup Woodson would like to use more.
