DALLAS – Carmelo Anthony never said he didn’t want to play with Chris Paul. But he called the recent report that the Knicks and Clippers might consider an Anthony for Blake Griffin trade “silly and stupid.”
Clippers coach Doc Rivers also used the word “stupid” a few times in reaction the report, which said the two sides haven’t had any discussions.

Raymond Felton missed the last four games with a pinched nerve in his hip, but he will return tonight to face Chris Paul and the Clippers.
The Knicks, losers of six straight, could use all the help they can get. But Felton wasn’t playing well defensively when he was healthy, and Paul isn’t the best guy to face when you’re coming off an injury like that.

Mike Woodson was fined $25,000 by the NBA for "public criticism of the officiating" yesterday on 98.7 FM, ESPN New York.
Woodson said "absolutely not" when asked if Carmelo Anthony gets the superstar calls and went on to say he's "starting to wonder what's a foul and what's not a foul."

Mike Woodson is planning to change his starting lineup tomorrow night against the Pistons.
The Pistons start a Josh Smith, Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond frontline so Woodson said he “might match to their bigness.”
It’s a safe bet that Carmelo Anthony, Andrea Bargnani and Kenyon Martin will start up front with Raymond Felton and either J.R. Smith or Iman Shumpert.
