Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis gave Iman Shumpert some words of wisdom about defense recently that opened up his eyes.

"One of the things he was telling me was after you have a good year, the next year it's hard to get interceptions," Shumpert said. "You start cheating and doing stuff you wouldn't normally do just to get stuff. You have to understand as a good defender, if people...

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Mike Woodson said the MRI on Carmelo Anthony’s injured right knee showed he has “some fluid build-up” and that’s what’s causing the stiffness.

Anthony wasn’t at the Knicks’ morning shootaround and is out for Thursday's game against the Pistons.

“Rest will probably be the best thing for him,” Woodson said. “He’s got to make that commitment. If he wants to sit down...

INDIANAPOLIS - Iman Shumpert made some appearances over All-Star Weekend in Houston, and also watched some tape the Knicks gave him to kind of kick-start him after the break.

Shumpert, the subject of trade rumors, hasn’t been himself since returning from a torn left ACL 13 games ago. A big part of that is coming back from the injury itself. But Mike Woodson wanted to remind Shumpert of the...

Of course, things can change between now and 3 p.m. Thursday.

The Knicks have been rumored...

The Knicks continue to say they’re not counting the Celtics out despite their unimpressive 16-17 record heading into tonight.

It’s not just that the Knicks aren’t trying to wake up the potentially sleeping giant by saying Boston’s time has passed.

They know Doc Rivers’ Celtics have many players who are battled tested and know how to win – something the Knicks have acquired the past two...

The Knicks could have a new addition to the starting lineup tonight, but it won’t be Amar’e Stoudemire.

It sounds as if Marcus Camby could replace Kurt Thomas against the Spurs. The Knicks have gotten off to bad starts lately, so Mike Woodson said something was going to have to change.

“Not taking nothing away from Kurt because Kurt bangs and does what’s asked of him too,” Woodson said....
