Because you can never have enough alternate jerseys to market and sell to fans, the Los Angeles Lakers have joined the masses of professional sports who will now wear different jerseys for certain games.

The uniforms are black and include the Lakers' traditional purple and gold colors. Points for creativity for calling them "Hollywood Nights."

In a statement released by the team, the new uniform "acknowledges the celebrities like Jack Nicholson that have long supported the team, but also serves as a nod to the huge number of people that work behind the scenes to make up one of L.A.'s biggest industries."
