NBA honors Brian Scalabrine in retirement

The White Mamba is no more.

As first reported by Yahoo! Sports on Sept. 6, Brian Scalabrine has retired from the NBA, the league's Facebook page confirmed today.

Scalabrine spent 11 seasons in the NBA, appearing in 520 games. He averaged 3.1 points and 2.0 rebounds, and shot 34.4 percent from three.
