Childress officially on board
Josh Childress is officially the newest Net.
The team announced the signing of the 6-8 forward Thursday, giving them another versatile bench player who they hope will help in a variety of ways. The Nets, whose roster now stands at 15, view Childress as a backup to starting swingman Gerald Wallace and he fills the last void that Avery Johnson and GM Billy King wanted to plug.
