Mason Plumlee signed on the dotted line -- and just in time for the start of summer camp practice.

The Nets announced Wednesday that they've signed their first-round pick, selected No. 22 overall at last Thursday's draft. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

In other news, according to ESPN, the Nets are no longer in the running for the free agent services of sharpshooter Kyle Korver. The best the Nets could offer the 31-year-old Korver is a three-year deal worth about $10 million, and he would have to likely take less than market value to sign with Brooklyn -- something that seemed like a long shot initially, but really appears that way now after seeing the Timberwolves give Chase Buddinger a three-year deal worth $16 million.

But at least the Nets have Plumlee's rookie deal out of the way. He'll practice with the 12-player summer team at the PNY Center Wednesday in preparation for Jason Kidd's debut as a coach during Sunday's opener in Orlando, Fla.
