EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Brook Lopez's best season as a pro resulted in his first All-Star appearance, but it wasn't good enough to land the Nets' center on either one of the league's three All-NBA teams.

Lopez received a total of 132 points, by far the most of any player who wasn't selected. The 7-footer also collected seven first-team votes. However, he was beaten out by Tim Duncan, Marc...

A Deron Williams-Jerry Sloan reunion?

Could be if both sides wind up really wanting each other.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- They were loose, joking around with each other as they normally do.

Keith Bogans threw a towel in Joe Johnson’s face while he was conducting interviews. Gerald Wallace was getting on Johnson about some of their friendly shooting practice battles, perhaps wanting another crack at him.

For a team that’s hours away from playing in one of the biggest games...

CHICAGO -- After two straight wins over the Bulls, the Nets are poised to become the ninth team in NBA history to come back from a 3-1 deficit to win a best-of-seven series. Nets hope to turn pressure around on Bulls

CHICAGO -- They’re back at the scene of that epic collapse, ready to truly put brutal triple-overtime loss here five days ago on the backburner.

But if the Nets are going to keep their season from coming to an abrupt end, they’ll have to find a way to get a victory at the United Center -- something they’ve failed to do four previous times this season -- when they meet the Bulls in Game 6 of...

Stopping Nate Robinson is Nets' Game 5 problem

Reports of a calf injury that will keep Chicago Bulls point guard Kirk Hinrich out of Game 5 of their first-round playoff series against Brooklyn on Monday night at Barclays Center fall in the “Be careful what you wish for” category for the Nets.

Less Hinrich likely means more Nate Robinson, and the Nets got their fill of him in their demoralizing triple-overtime Game 4 loss Saturday in Chicago.
