The Nets are trying to land Celtics veterans Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce in a blockbuster trade, according to Yahoo! Sports.

A potential deal could include Kris Humphries, Gerald Wallace, MarShon Brooks and three future first-round picks going to Boston in exchange for Garnett and Pierce. No trade is imminent, the report states, and if it does happen, it probably couldn't go through until after July 10 when the NBA's moratorium on player transactions ends.

The Nets would also have to convince Garnett to waive his no-trade clause and it's unclear if the 37-year-old would be willing to do so.

But Yahoo! reports the discussions are "serious" and could also involve more players changing sides.
