St. John's rallies, forces OT and tops Georgetown
It wasn't exactly St. John's vs. Georgetown at Madison Square Garden circa 1985, but it certainly had that old-time feeling.
D.J. Kennedy hit two free throws with 1:15 left and Justin Burrell slammed home the final two points off an offensive rebound with 10 seconds remaining in overtime as St. John's topped Georgetown, 59-56, in front of 9,959 fans at the Garden.
