Great Britian junior welterweight sensation Amir Khan has come to an agreement with Golden Boy Promotions, it was announced Sunday. 

Under the deal, Khan and his promotion company has agreed to allow Golden Boy to promote him in the United States.

"I'm really happy Khan Promotions is partnering with Golden Boy as I know that together they will be the right team ot help me continue my career as an elite fighter and to expand my fan base to the United States and around the world," said Khan (22-1, 16 KOs). "I'm ready to fight anyone, anywhere, anytime and know that Golden Boy will help me accomplish these goals."

The last time Khan stepped in the ring he scored a first round TKO over Brooklyn's Dmitriy Salita in the United Kingdom on December 5.
