The fight is so big, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. won't be spending much time promoting it.
The two boxers will get together March 11 in Los Angeles for the only news conference before the week of the fight, organizers said Monday.
They won't meet again until the final press conference at the MGM Grand in the days before the May 2 megafight.VoteMayweather vs. Pacquiao: Who has the edge?Top 10 pound-for-pound boxers
Both fighters have begun training for the bout, with Pacquiao arriving in Los Angeles over the weekend from the Philippines. He will train at the Wild Card gym in Hollywood, while Mayweather trains in his own gym in Las Vegas. Mayweather began his training camp on Monday.
Fans hoping to get a glimpse of the fighters at the Los Angeles press conference figure to be out of luck. The event is open only to credentialed media.
