As I watched Kyle Orton continually throw passes the way of Brandon Marshall against the Colts Sunday, I said he would be targeted 25 times. Well, I was off just a bit. Marshall was targeted 28 times and hauled in an NFL-record 21 passes in a 28-16 loss.

Terrell Owens had 20 receptions in 2000. Marshall had 200 yards receiving and scored two touchdowns. Marshall had 53 points in a PPR league. If you played against him, the odds are you lost. Did anyone overcome an opponent who had Marshall and defeat them?

Marshall started the season slowly, but has come on real strong. But Marshall has more than 1,000 yards receiving this season, nine TDs and has been very good lately. He has at least five receptions and 86 yards in five of the last six games. With the Raiders and Eagles up next, he should continue to roll.
