Kansas is back on top thank to a loss by Kentucky. Villanova moved up one place to second, while Syracuse jumped from No.4 to No.3. Kentucky dropped to fourth. West Virginia had a nice week and climbed up three spots to sixth, while Purdue moved up two placed to eight. Texas fell from No.6 to No.9 and Duke dropped two places to 10th. 

Ohio State is beginning to catch steam and jumped seven places to 13th. New Mexico also made a huge leap from 23rd to 15th. Butler and Northern Iowa came back in the poll, while UAB dropped out.

WOMEN'S POLL

The top three spots (UConn, Stanford, Notre Dame) remained the same. Nebraska cracked the top five for the first time this season and sits in the fourth spot, while Tennessee stayed at fifth. Duke dropped from sixth to seventh, while Ohio State tumbled from fourth to eighth after two losses.

Making the poll for the first time this season was St. John's. The Red Storm (18-3) have won five straight, including two straight at Syracuse and home against Providence.

TCU, Virginia and Penn State dropped out.
