There was some movement in the top five as Syracuse dropped from second to fifth and Purdue moved up two places to foruth. Kentucky moved up one place to second, while Villanova moved up one slot to third. Kansas State moved up from nine to seven, West Virginia dropped three spots to eighth and Ohio Statge made a huge jump four places to ninth.

Wake Forest, Texas A&M and Richmond each entered the poll for the first time, while Tennessee made the biggest drop from 12th to 20th.  

Northern Iowa, Georgia Tech and UNLV dropped out of the poll.
