Purdue forward Robbie Hummel was about as hot as anyone could be on the basketball court.

He scored 35 points in the Boilermaker's 70-66 loss to Ohio State on Tuesday night. What stands out about that performance is the fact that the 6-8 junior went 8-for-10 from the three-point range and dropped 29 points in the first half.

Yes, he scored 29 in the first half, the same amount of points Ohio State scored.

It was no fluke performance. Hummel is averaging 16.4 points per game and has hit three or more three-pointers three times this season. He hit at least two in a game two other times.

He also had 10 rebounds in Tuesday's loss.

Rest assured you'll be hearing Hummel's name again and again.
