Evan Turner (24) and Jon Diebler combined for 44 points and David Lighty added 18 points for second-seeded Ohio State in a 75-66 win over No.10 Georgia Tech. The Buckeyes were efficient on offense and shot 49 percent from the field. 

It was a case of bad offense for the Yellow Jackets, who finished with 20 turnovers. Gani Lawal was the Yellow Jackets' high scorer with 11 points. Derrick Favors had just 10 points.  

The Buckeyes are poised to advance as David Lighty drained two free throws after being fouled on a breakaway. The Buckeyes lead 69-63 with 53 seconds left.

It's been all Georgia Tech the last few minutes as Brian Oliver hit two threes during an11-2 run for the Yellow Jackets, who cut a 65-50 lead to six, 67-61 with 1:39 left.

Ohio State is starting to assert itself on both sides of the ball. Evan Turner and Jon Diebler lead the Buckeyes with 20 points each. Gani Lawal is the only Georgia Tech player in double figures with 11. The Buckeyes lead 65-52 with 3:47 left.

The Buckeyes are moving the ball well on offense and have started the second on a 13-6 run. Evan Turner has 18 and Davig Lighty has 12 points. The Buckeyes lead 41-32 with 13:31 left.

Evan Turner has it going and has hit 4 of his last 7 shots and has 16 points. Jon Diebler, who had seven threes in the first round, is 0-for-3 for the Buckeyes. But he is 3-for-3 from the foul line. Once he gets it going Georgia Tech can forget about it. Ohio State leads Tech 28-26 at the half.

Both teams are shooting a bit better. Georgia Tech hash hit 3 of its last 5 shots and leads 14-12 with 9:50 left in the first. Gani Lawal is 3-for-4 fromt he field with six points. As for Evan Turner, he's hit only 2 of his first 7 shots, but he has seven points and is beginning to find his way to the rim.

Evan Turner and Ohio State haven't come close to finding the stroke. The Buckeyes are 1-for-5 from the field with four turnovers and trail, 5-2, with 15:50 left in the first. Geogria Tech hasn't been that much better, shooting 1-for-4 with two turnovers.
