What's not to like about the Connecticut Huskies women's basketball program?

They've crushed every team, ranked or unranked. The Huskies are the best team in what is arguably the best conference in women's college basketball. They have at least three first-round WNBA picks in Maya Moore, Tina Charles and Kalana Greene and possibly a fourth in Tiffany Hayes.

The Huskies proved once again why they could end up the greatest team ever. UConn knocked off Big East rival Notre Dame, 70-46, on Saturday night. It was easily one of the most anticipated games of the season.

How easy was it? UConn led 42-19 at the half. Oh, and they limited the third-ranked Fighting Irish to 27 percent shooting. It was UConn's 56th straight win.

If you're surprised, try not to be.  UConn is 10-0 against top 10 programs during the streak and has won by an average of 27.1 points per game. Few teams, if any, in the modern era can boast that kind of success. That includes the men.

Uconn (17-0, 5-0 Big East) has one more non-conference test from Duke on Monday. Barring a rash of injuries between now and then, expect the Huskies to roll. After all, they are perfect.
