The 10-0 run to start the game by No. 15 Morgan State is a distant memory. The No.2 Mountaineers blitzed Todd Bozeman's crew the rest of the way for a 77-50 win. It wasn't the best of games for West Virginia, though, who shot just 42 percent. But they were so efficient on the boards, out rebounding Morgan 42-34, that their bad shooting didn't become a factor.

It's been all West Virginia since a 10-0 start by Morgan State. The Mountaineers are on a 56-22 run since that horrid start. West Virginia leads 56-32 with 11:20 left in the game.

No. 15 Morgan State bolted to a 10-0 lead, hoping to become the latest mid-major to stun a Big East team. But West Virginia found its stroke and its defense and ued a 38-17 run and leads 38-27 at the half.

Joe Davis hit a jumper to give Morgan State a 21-19 lead with 6:31 left in the first. That was the end of Morgan's offense for a while as it suffered a four-minute scoring drought. West Virginia took advantage and ripped off an 11-2 run and led 30-23 with 2:31 left in the first.
