In the first ever BCS National Championship, Tennessee used stellar defense to stifle Florida State’s offense and held the Seminoles to just 253 total yards. Peerless Price’s 199 receiving yards broke a Tennessee bowl record, and Dwayne Goodrich returned an interception 54 yards for a touchdown.
