There will be a party-like atmosphere on Thursday night November 1 at the Mack Sports Complex as Hofstra will host a Midnight Madness to bring in the basketball season.

The event is open only to Hofstra students and will feature DJ Whutevva from Power 105.1. Siddique Farooqi, the new public address announcer for Hofstra men’s and women’s basketball, will emcee the event.

“We can’t wait to celebrate the start of the basketball season with our student body,” men’s coach Mo Cassara said in a release. “I encourage everyone to come out to Hofstra USA to be part of a very special night.”

The rosters from both the men’s and women’s teams will be introduced.

“I am so excited to showcase our team to the great students here at Hofstra,” said women’s Krista Kilburn-Steveskey. “This will be a great event just before the start of the season as the excitement grows for our first game.”
