LSU tops AP and coaches polls, 'Bama 2nd

LSU is again the king of the AP poll, with Alabama and Oklahoma State manning the second and third spots. Stanford is fourth and USC is fifth. Houston took a huge tumble following its loss to Southern Miss in the C-USA title game, dropping from seventh to 20th. No BCS for the Cougars. Wisconsin moved up from 15th to 9th.
