There was a shift in the top spot as St. John’s moves into the No. 1 spot after a 73-57 drubbing of Wagner. Stony Brook drops to second after a 90-74 loss at Indiana and Manhattan slipped to No. 3. LIU and St. Francis switched places and are at fourth and fifth, respectively. Seton Hall, Fordham and Iona stayed at sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively, while Rutgers and Quinnipiac enter the poll for the first time at ninth and 10th.

Fans should expect drastic changes in the poll from week to week through the first month of the season.
