Stony Brook's men's basketball game against Canisius scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday will instead tip-off at noon, due to the football team's home against Villanova in the first round of the FCS playoffs on the same day.

The change was made due to the univerisity's need to staff both events. The game change also allows ticket holders to attend both.

Stony Brook's first-round game against Villanova starts at 3 p.m.

Stony Brook is offering a discount to fans interested in attending both games. Any fan purchasing a ticket to the football game is entitled to purchase tickets to the men's basketball game at a "Buy One, Get One FREE" rate. To act on this offer, fans should call (631) 632-WOLF or visit the Stony Brook Athletics ticket office within the Sports Complex.
