The Colonial Athletic Association, home to Hofstra’s athletic program, announced a three-year agreement to hold its men’s basketball tournament at 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore starting in 2014. Stony Brook University's LaValle Stadium will host the 2013 and 2014 America East men's lacrosse championship, the conference announced Thursday. The athletic directors from member institutions voted for the venue. The winning team receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

Semifinals for the 2013 tournament will be held May 2. The title game, on May 4, will be telecast on ESPNU.
