St. John's (9-4) could have a shot at the Big East men's lacrosse title with the return of Connetquot graduate Kieran McArdle, the conference's attack player of the year. McArdle, a Tewaaraton Award nominee, had 36 goals and 49 assists. His 185 points are second to the 219 of Mike Bolger, the program's all-time leading scorer.

Joining McArdle for their senior year are fellow attackers Kevin Cernuto and Colin Keegan. Cernuto had 32 goals and 16 assists, and Keegan scored 26 goals and had five assists.

Defensively, Joe Addona and Drew Viscusi are back. Junior Mike Carrera is likely to draw the faceoff duties, taking the place of the graduated Jordan Rothman.
