Zeke Upshaw's three-pointer with 12:50 to play gave Hofstra (7-17, 3-6) a 46-45 lead, but it didn't last long. David Walker answered with a 3 of his own and the Huskies would never trail again.

A layup by Upshaw pulled the Pride within two with about 4 ½ minutes remaining before NU used a 10-4 run to open up a 77-69 advantage with 1:26 left.
