Maybe you can get there from here. Former Stony Brook center Paul Fenaroli was signed today by the world champion Green Bay Packers to their practice squad. Last summer, Fenaroli was signed by Atlanta as an undrafted free agent and made it to the final cut before being released on Sept. 2.

The 6-2, 300-pound Fenaroli (pictured blocking for SBU) was a three-year starter for the Seawolves and a first team All-Big South selection as a junior and senior at center. He also has shown he can switch to guard in the NFL, and that versatility is attractive to teams battling injuries and depth problems. Fenaroli will wear No. 64 with the Packers.

Not a bad spot to get your foot in the NFL door.
