Former Floyd running back Stacey Bedell has transferred to Stony Brook, Stony Brook coach Chuck Priore said Saturday.
Bedell was at Massachusetts for two years and will have three years eligibility remaining.

Hofstra men's basketball will participate in the Virgin Islands' Paradise Jam in November 2015, the school announced Thursday.
It will be Hofstra's fifth time playing in a tournament outside of the continental US. The Pride played in Puerto Rico in 1997 and 2010, Hawaii (1998) and Alaska in 2006.
