Shante Evans can add one more thing to her lengthy list of accomplishments.

The senior forward was named an Associated Press All-American Honorable Mention for the third straight season. She became the first AP All-America Honorable Mention selection in program history when she was selected in 2011, joined a prestigious list of three-time All-America picks.

A first team All-CAA selection for the third time, Evans led Hofstra in scoring (16.1) and rebounding (11.5). Evans is the CAA's all-time leading rebounder with 1,348 and had the most double-doubles (69) of any active Division I player.

Evans, who led the Pride to two WNIT appearances, has scored in double figures in 28 of Hofstra's 29 regular season games and notched a double-double in 35 of her last 52 career games.

Named to both the John R. Wooden Award and Naismith Trophy watch lists, Evans is the Pride’s all-time leader in points (2,116).
