WBB Poll: Rutgers 1st, Stony Brook 7th

There’s a new boss in town as Rutgers takes over the No. 1 spot after knocking off No. 16 Georgia for its fifth straight win. Seton Hall falls one place to second, while Marist is up to third after beating Oklahoma for its sixth straight victory. Fordham has won eight straight, but still dropped one place to fourth.

St. Francis falls from fourth to fifth, while St. John’s maintains the sixth spot after beating a previously ranked Texas A&M squad in the Maggie Dixon Classic at MSG. Stony Brook, off to its best start since becoming a Division I program, is up one place to seventh after winning two last week, while Iona drops to one space to eighth. Army stayed at ninth, while Princeton replaces Fairfield at 10 after four straight wins.
