Suffolk CC's Kerr-Smith wins two national titles
Her life became a metaphor for her sport. Angela Kerr-Smith essentially sprinted from class to work to track back to work. Over and over, day after day. Her reward came at the recent NJCAA nationals, where she won the 100 and 200 meters to become the first national champion in any sport on the Michael J. Grant campus of Suffolk Community College in Brentwood. And it was all quite by happenstance....
