Tim Tebow was one of the most punishing collegiate rushers at Florida — but he's a quarterback, and was drafted as such by the Denver Broncos.

However, the Broncos intend to utilize the 245-pounder as a runner, according to the Denver Post's Mike Klis. In an interview with Mike Florio of profootballtalk.com, Klis said that Tebow ends up running the ball on roughy 50 or 60 percent of his training camp snaps (most on designed running plays).

Klis also said Tebow is getting "a lot" of snaps for a third-string quarterback — he's behind incumbent starter Kyle Orton and newcomer Brady Quinn — but that his passing still needs some work.

He's been accurate for the most part and throws hard enough, but still has trouble reading defenses, which is a common problem among young QBs.

Regardless, Tebow is expected to see plenty of snaps on the Broncos' offense this season.
