Ristegio's, the much-anticipated New American restaurant with chef Richard Lanza, opens Wednesday at 5 p.m. in North Patchogue.
The restaurant, which takes its name from those of owners Richard, Steven, and Joseph Lanza, is in the location that once housed Pat & Jim's, the chef's first restaurant.

The three-course, fixed-price dinner is available on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, from 3 p.m. until closing. Cost: $32 plus tax and tip. It includes a house salad, a 16-oz. prime rib with potatoes and seasonal vegetables, and dessert.

Say goodbye to the Patchogue branch of Canz-a-Citi Roadhouse, a big, boisterous bar and grill where multiple TVs blared multiple sports events and female servers in tank tops and short-shorts ferried food and drink to tables.

Los Andes, a Deer Park Peruvian restaurant, has spawned a new Patchogue branch. The new eatery occupies the diner-like space that last hosted Stop 275.

Just opened in East Patchogue is Peppercorn Cafe, which takes over the former home of South Country Inn. The casual restaurant has 14 tables and a full bar.
In charge of the kitchen is Chef Dave Moritz, who cooked at Off Key Tiki in Patchogue and Westhampton Steak House in Westhampton.
