The Giants have six games remaining when they return from the bye, a treacherous stretch that begins with the Packers on Nov. 25 and includes two division opponents, the Saints and Falcons, and a trip to play the Ravens.

Antrel Rolle says: "Bring 'em on!"

"I love going up against the best of the best each and every week," Rolle said in his weekly radio spot Tuesday on WFAN. "That schedule we have coming, it's pretty brutal. It's a pretty brutal schedule. But it's nothing that we can't handle. It's nothing we can't handle as a team. It's nothing we haven't done before as a team. The way I look at it, man, bring 'em on."

To win those games and advance to the playoffs, Rolle said the Giants need to play better than they have in recent weeks. And he believes they will.

"I have all the confidence in this team," he said. "Never for one second have I ever doubted the faith and the heart and the hard work of this team."

Simms: Eli not one of elite

Eli Manning has been downgraded by Phil Simms, who no longer considers the Giants quarterback to be among the best in the game.

"No, he is not one of the elites," Simms said Monday on CBS Sports Network's NFL Monday QB. "When I hear the word elite, I'm thinking about guys that can make unbelievable plays on the field by themselves. There are very few quarterbacks in that category. So yes, Eli has been a tremendous team player. He has been MVP of the Super Bowl twice. I know that. But the way I look at it, the answer is no."
