Giants LBs Sintim, Clark split time, get along

The changing of the guard can present a strange dynamic on an NFL team, and that's what's happening right now to the Giants at strong side linebacker. Rookie Clint Sintim will continue to split plays with Danny Clark, who has been the starter and only real player there for the last year and a half.
Does that help motivate Clark? "It was motivating when they drafted him," Clark said, clearly flustered by the line of questions about Sintim's presence not only on the roster but now in the rotation. "It's been very competitive and we do a great job of pushing each other."
Clark has been helpful to Sintim, calling him his "little brother." In turn, Sintim called Clark a "cool dude."
"When I first came here, I was thinking just from watching him, 'Man, why'd they draft me? This guy is such a good player,' " Sintim said.
As friendly as the words are between the players, the underlying tension exists as the NFL's Circle of Life plays out.
"I don't think it's hard," Sintim said of the relationship. "The job is his, I'm just trying to work my way into the mix."
All aboard!
For the first time this season, the Giants had all 53 of their active players participate in practice. The last to join was running back Ahmad Bradshaw, who usually sits out during midweek workouts with a boot on his injured right foot. "It felt pretty good to have everybody out there working," Tom Coughlin said. "That was a good sign."
Giant steps
Defensive coordinator Bill Sheridan said he expects cornerback Aaron Ross (hamstring) to be on the field for the first time this season Sunday. "He isn't going to go in there and play 60 snaps," Sheridan said, adding, "Gosh, yeah, I see him getting into the game." . . . Falcons running back Michael Turner (ankle) did not practice but RB Jerious Norwood (hip) did and could play after missing the four games.
