The Giants listed Odell Beckham Jr. as questionable for Monday night's game against the Eagles, which tells us absolutely nothing.

The designation -- which technically puts his chances of playing at 50-50 -- is really just a placeholder for the coming days. The Giants are hopeful that Beckham, who has been sidelined all week with a hamstring injury, will be able to participate in Sunday's final practice before the trip to Philadelphia. But even if he cannot, coach Tom Coughlin said that would not preclude him from playing.

The Giants did not practice Saturday, but they projected that Beckham would not have participated if they had.

Unless Beckham does not travel with the team, which would be announced Sunday night, the world likely will not be certain of his status for the prime-time game against a division opponent until 90 minutes before kickoff. That's when the Giants must submit their list of inactive players.

As for the rest of the final injury report before the game, there were few surprises. The Giants listed cornerback Prince Amukamara (pectoral), receiver Victor Cruz (calf) and linebacker Devon Kennard (hamstring) as out. Joining Beckham in the questionable group are defensive end Robert Ayers Jr. (hamstring), linebacker Jon Beason (concussion), linebacker Jonathan Casillas (calf) and cornerback Trumaine McBride (groin).

Receiver Rueben Randle (hamstring) is probable along with guard Justin Pugh (ankle) and defensive end George Selvie (calf).
