Going anywhere in the metropolitan area will be a chore this weekend, and that will include the Giants-Steelers game. With the train station in Secaucus not in operation because of Hurricane Sandy, fans attending tomorrow's game have been urged to carpool and arrive early.

There will be "very limited" cash parking spots available at MetLife Stadium, according to the Giants, but the team is offering free parking and free shuttle service to and from the stadium at two locations: The parking lot at the Secaucus train station and at 20 Murray Hill Parkway in Rutherford, N.J. In addition, N.J. Transit bus No. 351, the Meadowlands express, will run from the Port Authority Bus Terminal and return after the game. That is not a free service.

Also, any ticket-holder who lost tickets or had them destroyed in the storm, or is unable to retrieve them for any reason, should go to one of the service windows -- which are located at each stadium gate -- and the tickets will be reprinted at no charge. Fans need to provide the name of the subscriber and the seat locations for a reprint.
