Rueben Randle missed Thursday's practice with a knee injury, further thinning an already diminished wide receiver group.
"Rueben has a little bit of swelling in his knee, so they want to take a look at it," Tom Coughlin said. "Hopefully it's not going to be much."
The Giants already are without Victor Cruz, who had knee surgery last week. Randle replaced Cruz in the starting lineup last week, but if he is unable to play in the finale against the Redskins on Sunday, he might be replaced by Jerrel Jernigan.
Randle did not appear on the injury report Wednesday, although Coughlin said he "limped around a little bit" in the jog-through.
"I'm still going to be prepared to play this week," Randle said. "I do want to end [the season] well, so that's why I'm trying to get it right so I can go out there and play as fast as possible to make plays for the team and whatever they need me to do."
