Newest Giant Kyle Bosworth and cornerback Aaron Ross have something in common, more even than their shared experience of playing for the 2-14 Jaguars last season. They both have connections to reality television.

Bosworth, a linebacker who signed with the Giants on Wednesday night, is engaged to Kara Keough. Her father is former Yankees pitcher Matt Keough and her mother is Jeana Keough, star of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” Ross, meanwhile, is married to Olympic sprinter Sanya Richards-Ross and their relationship will be depicted on the upcoming show “Glam and Gold” which is coming to television this summer.

Oddly enough, Bosworth has never actually appeared on any of the programs but sounded willing to do so, while Ross plays a large role on his show but somewhat reluctantly.

“When he first came in he was telling me he heard that me and my wife have – well, my wife has a reality show and that I’m going to be a part of,” Ross said. “It was fun and games. It’s mainly my wife’s show. I’m just the husband behind the scenes.”

Bosworth said he’s looking forward to checking Ross out on the tube.

“He’s a very, very flamboyant guy,” he said, “so that’ll be a funny show.”

As for Bosworth, he said his only other trip to New York City was when he came here for a few days while Kara was filming an episode of a show about buying a wedding dress. But he nearly had a chance to do some television work himself.

“We tried to do a wives and girlfriends thing with Bravo in Jacksonville,” he said. “My fiancé approached Bravo and we actually had a meeting out in California, but I guess Jacksonville is just not the city to hold a reality show like that.

“But,” he grinned somewhat ominously, “New York is.”

As for his football roots, Bosworth is the nephew of former NFL linebacker-turned-movie star Brian “The Boz” Bosworth. He said he used to be close to his uncle but they have drifted apart in recent years.

Bosworth played for the Jaguars for two seasons and was a restricted free agent this offseason but the team decided not to tender him. That left him free to sign with whichever teams would take him. His first workout was with the Giants – he had others scheduled – and he did that on Wednesday and signed later in the day.

“He’s definitely a hard worker,” Ross said. “I think he’s a player who knows the game. And I think he’s a really smart player. With those three combinations I think we’re getting a great player.”
