There was never really any question about the questionables.

Yes, Ahmad Bradshaw and Michael Boley were listed as questionable, 50-50 chances of playing against the Redskins. But realistically they were both going to be playing today. The Giants just released their inactives and there are no surprises.

The list includes three players who have already been ruled out – Kenny Phillips, Rocky Bernard and Jacquian Williams – plus James Brewer, Adewale Ojomo, Adrien Robinson and Jerrel Jernigan.

That means Bradshaw will play and start. Boley will play and start. Hakeem Nicks will play and start. Corey Webster will play and start. Chris Canty, just activated off PUP, will play. Will he start? No, Markus Kuhn is expected to do that. But Canty will undoubtedly play.

Jernigan played a big role for the Giants this week, replicating RG3’s speed on the scout team. But he’ll have to watch the actual RG3 from the bench.

Look for the Giants to put as many athletes on the field as possible today, and that means secondary players. Jayron Hosley may have a large role in the gameplan and could be the spy that Williams normally plays.

As for the Redskins, their inactives are Pierre Garcon, Brandon Meriweather, Rex Grossman, Adam Gettis, David Jones, Josh LeRibeus and Doug Worthington. Joshua Morgan will start at wide receiver for Garcon.

Cornerback Cedric Griffin will play for the Redskins. He was listed as questionable, which made him Griffin ??? as opposed to Griffin III (whom the Giants hope doesn’t play like Griffin !!! today).
