The Bucs have lost kicker Connor Barth to a season-ending Achilles injury he suffered playing in a charity basketball game. But the team replaced him with an experienced kicker, former Giants standout Lawrence Tynes.

Tynes converted 33-of-39 field goal attempts last season, but was not re-signed. The Giants instead went with Josh Brown.

"We are disappointed to lose a productive player like Connor, but are very fortunate to be able to sign an experienced kicker at this time of years," Bucs general manager Mark Dominik said. "

Barth hit on 28-of-33 field goals in 2012 after signing a four-year, $13.2 million contract.
