The Giants beat the Cowboys. And then they beat Sandy.

After hustling out of the locker room and onto their charter flight back home following last night’s thrilling 29-24 victory over the Cowboys, the Giants managed to make the trip in just about three hours, landing safely – if not without a few bumps due to heavy winds – at Newark International Airport at around 1:15 a.m.

The players will be given today and tomorrow off (Tuesday is usually an off day for NFL players) and are expected to report back on Wednesday. Most non-essential football personnel have also been told not to report to the team’s training complex today, although the coaching staff is at work this morning breaking down the film from the Cowboys game and preparing for the Steelers on Sunday.
