Tom Coughlin said the Giants would ease Hakeem Nicks into this week of practice. Today he looked fully immersed.

The wide receiver who has been fighting through a knee injury just about the entire season was practicing today, a day after sitting out. He stretched with the team, participated in drills, and looked sharp running routes and catching passes. He seems to have a very good chance of playing on Sunday, assuming there are no setbacks.

A few other nuggets of good news from the injury front: Jason Pierre-Paul, who sat out yesterday with a bad back, seemed to be a full participant today and linebacker Michael Boley, also out yesterday with a back, was at least limited. He wasn’t doing all of the drills, but most.

There has been no real change, though, on Ahmad Bradshaw, Prince Amukamara and Kenny Phillips. Bradshaw wasn’t even in the field house during the portion of practice that we watched. Phillips was on the bike as was Amukamara, which is a bit of an upgrade for Prince since he was not near the field yesterday. Still, neither of them were doing any running.

Tyler Sash was also on the bikes.
