Welcome back, Osi Umenyiora!

After missing four games with an ankle sprain, the defensive end is playing against the Cowboys tonight. He practiced every day this week, but even though he was limited and officially listed as questionable there seemed little chance that he would not be suiting up for this “all in” game.

Umenyiora will not start at defensive end. That job will go to Pro Bowler Jason Pierre-Paul. But Osi should provide a pass-rushing spark for the Giants and add a speed dimension that they do not have without him.

The inactives for the Giants are: Ramses Barden, Mark Herzlich, Jim Cordle, Justin Trattou, Jimmy Kennedy, James Brewer and Jake Ballard.

Having Barden on the sideline is a bit of a surprise, but last week he was benched in the second half in favor of Jerrel Jernigan. You may remember Darrelle Revis covering Jernigan at one point in that game, which seemed like a waste of resources.
