Report: Giants were talking trade of Cofield
According to one report, the Giants were talking about trading one of their veteran defensive linemen this weekend. But no, it was not Osi Umenyiora.
Jason LaCanfora of NFL Network Tweeted that the Giants and Saints were in discussions on a deal that would have sent DT Barry Cofield to New Orleans for a second-day (second- or third-round) pick.
